The Students and lecturers of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, attended the invitation to World Engineering Day 2026.

The kick off the day with welcome remarks from Dr.-Ing. Ir. Ilham Akbar Habibie (PII President), followed by a powerful message from UNESCO delivered by Ms. Maki Katsuno-Hayashikawa, and an inspiring opening addresses by Er. Dr. Seng Chuan Tan WFEO President, and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto.

The momentum continued with transformative insights from Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development alongside global leaders from UNESCO, WFEO, and our esteemed high-level panelists. We dived deep into the real-world impact of engineering and the ethical future of AI in our industry.

The energy at Balai Kartini is unmatched as 600 participants from 39 nations come together to engineer a sustainable future. Hopefully this event is useful and successful for Engineering in Indonesia.
