Jerry (@jerryfaisal) started his undergraduate studies in 2013 when he enrolled in the Industrial Engineering programme. Throughout the course of his studies, he was active in both academic pursuits and extracurricular engagements. Notably, he worked in several positions such as the Vice General Coordinator of the Quality Engineering Laboratory Assistant and the General Secretary of the Division of Anti-Drugs Student (DMAN Trisakti).

Upon successfully completing his studies in 2017, Jerry worked as a Commercial Analyst at an oil and gas services company. He dedicated 3.5 years to enhancing his professional skills.

In 2021, Jerry achieved a significant milestone by securing a fully funded scholarship from The Swedish Institute. This prestigious scholarship by the government of Sweden afforded him the opportunity to pursue a master’s programme at Uppsala universitet, specialising in Industrial Management and Innovation. During his time at the university, Jerry continued to demonstrate his commitment to various academic and community activities. He served as a Student Representative for the 2021 batch and President for the Indonesian Student Association in Uppsala (PPI Uppsala).

To further gain practical skills and valuable experience in the global environment, he undertook a role as a Business and Operations Summer Intern at Ericsson Headquarter in Sweden during summer 2022. He played a crucial role in managing the material and supply planning for the Ericsson Hub in Sweden.

In his final year of his studies, he embarked on an internship as a Purchasing Intern at Northvolt—a prominent Swedish company dedicated to the manufacturing of sustainable batteries across Europe.

Upon his graduation in 2023, Jerry continues to work full-time at Northvolt as a Purchasing Coordinator. He is actively involved in strategic projects with several European automotive companies where he leads the strategic sourcing process to achieve the Company’s goal to build green batteries.
