Lab.Pobis Industrial Engineering FTI Usakti in collaboration with YBMI held an online PKM activity at the Tahfidz Hummalul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School located on Gunung Sindur, Bogor Regency, online on June 29, 2022.
“This PKM aims to introduce Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) which can be started in Islamic boarding schools, including how to start a business that can improve welfare, health, environmental cleanliness, and quality education. In this PKM, we collaborate with YBMI which has built many waste bank communities in Jabodetabek. The hope is that the management of the waste bank can also be implemented in the pesantren environment,” said Dr. Dadang Surjasa as Chairman of this PKM, written Thursday (30/6/2022).
In this SDG’s socialization, material on welfare was given through practical efforts provided by Dr. Dedy Sugiarto, S.Si, MM, material about holistic education was given by Prof.Dr. Dadan Umar Daihani, DEA., material on triangle health given by Annisa Dewi Akbari, ST, M.Sc, and material on waste bank management to support environmental friendliness, given by Drs. Bambang Budi S., MM.
This PKM activity also involves an assistant student of the Organizational and Business Design Laboratory, namely Fatha Nuansa Putra and is supported by a laboratory assistant, namely Ari Nur Yahya.
All members of the pesantren really appreciate this PKM activity and hope for the sustainability of this program.
“We are very happy because we have been invited to collaborate in this PKM. For us this is very important and useful, because with this we not only absorb religious knowledge, but also other related knowledge, and this theme is very suitable for pesantren life and in accordance with religious law. We are very grateful and hope that this PKM will not only be one time, not only in the form of theory, but also in direct practice in our pesantren.” said Ustadz Daud Lintang, S.S.I, M.A. as the founder of the Tahfidz Hummalul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School.
