Welcome Speech from the Head of the Industrial Engineering Study Program

Assalamua’laikum wr wb. May peace be upon us all.

Welcome to the Industrial Engineering Department of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Trisakti University.

The Industrial Engineering Department of FTI Trisakti University is accredited “Excellent” by BAN-PT and internationally accredited by IABEE. Established 40 years ago in 1984, the department reached its 40th anniversary in 2024 and has produced over 6,900 graduates who have gone on to successful careers in both the manufacturing and service industries.

In 2020, the department received a grant from IABEE (Indonesia Accreditation Board for Engineering Education), followed by the Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) grants in 2021 and 2022. These grants have enabled the department to support students in participating in student exchange programs, industrial internships, and green technopreneurship initiatives. They have also enhanced opportunities for scientific publication and faculty competency development.

The department continues to strengthen collaborations with industry partners and professional organizations such as the Indonesian Ergonomics Association, BKSTI (Association of Industrial Engineering Higher Education Providers in Indonesia), BKTI PII (Industrial Engineering Division of the Institution of Engineers Indonesia), ISTMI (Association of Industrial Management Graduates), and ISLI (Indonesia Supply Chain and Logistics Institute).

Currently, the undergraduate (S1), master’s (S2), and doctoral (S3) programs in Industrial Engineering at FTI Trisakti University are actively contributing to the advancement of Industrial Engineering knowledge in Indonesia.
