Dr. Dian Mardi Safitri, a permanent lecturer of Industrial Engineering and Head of the Ergonomics, Health, and Occupational Safety Study Center at Universitas Trisakti, received an invitation as a resource person to deliver lectures on work ergonomics at the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) for the Development of Work Ergonomics Competence organized by the Ministry for Occupational Safety and Health examiners from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. The activity took place from February 20-23, 2024, in Jakarta. On this occasion, Dr. Dian presented materials on Basic Posture Work Risk, Measurement of Posture Work Risk, Ergonomic Interventions for Physiological and Mental Workloads, as well as Macro Ergonomic Approaches.

Participants of the technical guidance were guided to conduct analyses and provide recommendations for improvements based on the findings from ergonomic risk assessments. Through this activity, it is hoped that the quality of ergonomic risk assessment results can be improved, and the quality of life for Indonesian workers will increase.
