The Quality Engineering Laboratory organizes 3 types of practicums, namely: Quality Control and Assurance Practicum in PIM I, Experimental Design Practicum in PIM II, Probability and Statistics Practicum.

Quality Control Practicum

Quality Control Practicum is one of the practicums in the Quality Engineering Laboratory, where this practicum is part of the Manufacturing Industry Design Practicum I (PIM I) which is held in Semester IV and is a supporter of the Quality Control and Assurance course. Practicum of Quality Control and Assurance at PIM I consists of checking the quality of raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods with the following materials:

• Quality Plan
• Acceptance Sampling
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Minitab Software Application

Experimental Design Practicum

Experimental Design Practicum is one of the practicums in the Quality Engineering Laboratory, where this practicum is part of the Manufacturing Industry Design Practicum II (PIM II) which is held in Semester V and is a supporter of the Experimental Design course with practicum materials:

• Single Factor Experiment (Painting Method)

• 2 Factor Factorial Experiment (Pain Method and Paint Brand)

• Minitab Software Application

Probability and Statistics Practicum

Probability and Statistics Practicum is one of the practicums in the Quality Engineering Laboratory, where this practicum is a supporter of the Probability Theory course, with practicum materials:

• Descriptive statistics
• Discrete and continuous distribution
• Parameter estimation and hypothesis testing
• Analysis of variance
• Regression
• Statistical Non Parametric
• Minitab software application
• Random data
• Experiment design
• Questionnaire

In addition to practicum activities, the Quality Control Laboratory also carries out Research, Community Service and Training activities:

Study :

The research was carried out by lecturers and students taking the Final Project with topics including Quality Control, Experimental Planning, Response Surface Method, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000, FMEA, Fuzzy FMEA, FMEA and Expert Systems, FMEA and Knowledge Map. Where the research results will be published in Proceeding Seminars and Journals.

Community Service (PKM):

Community Service through knowledge training that can be directly applied to the community. The PKM was held in collaboration with the Bekasi City Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Primary and Secondary Education, the Banten Government. Here are some topics of Quality Engineering Lab PKM: Statistical Data Processing Training for High School Students Training on Making and Processing Statistical Data Market Research Questionnaire Statistical Data Processing Training for Local Government Employees

Training :

The training held by students is Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Design of Experiment (DOE), Probability Statistics. The trainings held by Lecturers include Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, Design of Experiment (DOE)

Contest:
National Quality Engineering Competitions I, II, III, IV, V, VI, and VII which are held every year are attended by PTN and PTS throughout Indonesia.
