Destination

  • Support the implementation of the learning process of Industrial Engineering Study Program students, particularly in the fields of optimization, modeling and simulation, computer-based information systems and intelligence systems.

  • Support the implementation of the process of increasing the competence of lecturers of the Industrial Engineering Study Program, especially in the fields of optimization, modeling and simulation, computer-based information systems and intelligence systems

  • Carry out research related to student Final Project research and lecturer research with topics according to laboratory competence

  • Perform Community Service, namely to industry and secondary education (SMU) related to understanding and skills in the field of Industrial System and Simulation laboratory competencies.

Industrial Systems and Simulation Laboratory Activities

1.Organizing practical activities which include:

  1. Practical Computer Programming Logic, using Borland C++ language

  2. System Simulation Practicum, which is designing a production system model and performing simulations with Promodel 4.0 software

  3. Operational Research Practicum, in this practicum apply transportation models and linear programming in aggregate planning using WinQSB Software

  4. Information System Design Analysis Practicum, in this practicum designing information systems using Power Designer.

2.Organizing training and consulting

a. Training for students and institutions/industry communities, including:

  • Geographic Information System

  • Pro Model 4.0

  • Power Designer

  • Operations management/operations research

  • Artificial Intelligent

b.Consulting services in the field of operations management for the industrial community

3.Conducting Research:

  1. Student research related to Final Project

  2. Lecturer research as a member of the Industrial Systems and Simulation laboratory

4.Organizing the scientific development of lecturers

  1. Organizing lecturer discussions in the field of science related to laboratory competencies

  2. Make practicum modules and modules as well as books of teaching materials.

5.Organizing community service, namely applying knowledge in the field of Industrial Simulation and Systems Laboratory competencies to the community, both to the education community and the manufacturing industry community.
