The Work System Design and Ergonomics Laboratory organizes several practicums that support the Work Measurement Analysis (IIG211) & Work System Design & Ergonomics (IIG310) and Product Design and Development (IIP227) courses. The practicum is integrated in PIM 1 (IIP 221) and PIM 2 (IIP 222). Work Measurement Analysis Practicum
It is part of PIM 1 with practical material for measuring standard time directly with a stopwatch time study. Work System Analysis Practicum
It is part of the PIM 1 practicum with material on work maps, measuring work capacity, anthropometry and ergonomics aspects in improving work systems. Product Development Practicum
It is part of the PIM 1 practicum with practicum materials covering product concept development and House of Quality. Work System Repair Practicum
It is part of the PIM 2 practicum with practicum material including the design of experiment involving work environment factors. Apart from practicum activities, research and training activities are also held: Research: The research was carried out by students of the Industrial Engineering Study Program for the Final Project, besides that research was carried out by lecturers whose results were published in Proceeding Seminars, Proceedings of Symposiums and Industrial Engineering Journals. Training :
The training carried out includes: Training in Anthropometry, Biomechanics, Work Factors & Analysis of work systems for prospective DSK & E assistants. Ergoweb Training.
Training on the use of Ergonomics tools Cooperation : Cooperation is carried out through the Ergonomics Professional Organization (PEI) and other universities related to the use of laboratory equipment, research and the provision of seminars.
