Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Perlis held the Studium Generale “Role of Engineering Techonologist in Economic Growth” which was held on Wednesday, 15 December 2021 at 13.00 WIB online.

The event was opened with speech from Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Rina Fitriana, S.T., M.M. In her speech, the Head of the Industrial Engineering Department said that this event was part of the implementation of the Merdeka Learning activities at the Kampus Merdeka. Also the implementation of this event can encourage students to be able to take part in industrial internships, student exchanges, and Green Technopreneurship which are part of PKKM.

Followed by the presentation of the material “Role of Engineering Techonologist in Economic Growth” by Dr. Sa’adah Binti Ahmad @ Ahmad Sowi as Lecturer of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology Universiti Malaysia Perlis.

The event was followed by a discussion, Q&A, and awards certificates from Head of the Department of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Rina Fitriana, S.T., M.M., to Dr. Sa’adah Bint Ahmad @ Ahmad Sowi.

The Public Lecture closed with a group photo as documentation.

Hopefully this Public Lecture can add insight to the participants about the Role of Engineering Techonologist in Economic Growth, and also become a sustainable collaboration between Trisakti University and University Malaysia Perlis.
